      ConditionThe student has to enroll in the semester of the subject
      The goalTo widen the knowledge of nutrition; qualify the students to use ration formulation to keep health and maximize the production; teach the students to monitor processes that occur due to nutrition errors as a result of processing or storage errors; to connect nutrition with diseases – prevention and treatment.
      The outcomeAcquisition of new skills and techniques in animal nutrition & qualification for everyday independent work in the institutions directly connected to animal production; knowledge & understanding of the principles of nutrition of different categories of productive animals with taking into account the specificity and differences; spotting irregularities and problem areas due to inadequate nutrition.
      Contents of lecturesPhysiological specificities of animal nutrition. Use of feedstuffs for different species and categories. Requirements. Influence of nutrition on reproduction. Nutrition of replacement, young & fattening animals and influence on meat quality. Nutrient disorders and dietetics measures.
