| The goal | To widen the knowledge of nutrition; qualify the students to use ration formulation to keep health and maximize the production; teach the students to monitor processes that occur due to nutrition errors as a result of processing or storage errors; to connect nutrition with diseases – prevention and treatment. | |||
| The outcome | Acquisition of new skills and techniques in animal nutrition & qualification for everyday independent work in the institutions directly connected to animal production; knowledge & understanding of the principles of nutrition of different categories of productive animals with taking into account the specificity and differences; spotting irregularities and problem areas due to inadequate nutrition. | |||

| Contents of lectures | Physiological specificities of animal nutrition. Use of feedstuffs for different species and categories. Requirements. Influence of nutrition on reproduction. Nutrition of replacement, young & fattening animals and influence on meat quality. Nutrient disorders and dietetics measures. | |||
