    The goal Getting to know the location of veterinarians in the hunting economy, the basic biological characteristics of wild animals, hunting technology and the specifics of the pathology and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in certain species of wildlife.
    The outcome Student should understand the importance of veterinarians in the hunting economy and in protection of wildlife, to learn biological characteristics and specificities in the pathology and treatment of certain species of wild animals, basic measures to prevent and combat diseases of wildlife and to collect samples for laboratory tests, to do the necessary clinical procedures.

    Contents of lectures Hunting areas, the legislation on hunting(2). Basic biological characteristics of game birds(1).Diseases of the wild animals(2).The biological characteristics of wild animals(1).Diseases of the deer family, bovine, wild boar, rabbit and wild carnivores(4). Specifics of diagnosis and treatment of animal diseases(1). Zoonoses(1).Cultivation and diseases of rabbits and fur animals(3).
    Contents of exercises Clinical practice in the Clinic for Equine, Small Animal, Poultry and Wild Animal Diseases (9), field exercises in the hunting area (6).

    Methods of teaching The theoretical part of the course will be accompanied by PowerPoint presentations and films from the archives of the Department of Equine, Small Animal, Poultry and Wild Animal Diseases; Practical lessons on healthy and sick animals, treatment of clinical cases.
